Post Christmas

okay, 2 days after christmas... need i say more. i am trying to get other things done before i get back to my sewing machine. I have a birthday quilt to make and finish a christmas baby quilt and then an aeroplane baby quilt. Then I want to start on some stuff for my market stall I keep planning in my mind! But I must have stuff to sell, I keep making stuff but for everyone else!

Day 1 of moving

NOT a good day for moving today. Rain. Rain. Rain. A perfect day for sewing actually. So many projects that need attention. Lots of little pram quilts for my mothers group kids - all turning 1 within a month. busy busy!!
Perhaps I could do some cutting as I haven't packed my fabrics completely yet! And seeing as I can't do any moving until after lunch anyway!

First post

My first post on my new blog! I'm generally not very good at journaling so I will just have to see how I go.
Today is such a glorious day, the sun is out and it is warmish for this time of year. I can't believe that in 1 more day we will be in our new house! Can't wait. So much to do to make it ours. My brain is ticking all the time with ideas on what to change. Just colours to start with, but that will make such a huge difference. Oh and where to put my new vegie patch (sad to be leaving the old one), but most importantly - MY NEW SEWING ROOM!!
