Baby Chevron

Yay! Another quilt finally finished! This is another one that sat for months waiting for me to get back to it. All it needed was the final row sewed together, backing quilting and binding.

It is the first solids quilt I have done. I really like it. 

I've used Michael Miller flannel on the back. I'm loving flannel backed quilts at the moment. 

I kept the quilting to a minimum so it would stay nice and soft and snuggly. 

Now onto my next finish!

First for 2013

I've finally finished my first quilt for 2013! I actually started this way back somewhere in 2012. I had it quilted and waiting for binding for many months and finally decided to bind it.

After seeing Ashleys stunning Liberty patchwork, I decided I had to make one. 

I used Anna Maria's Horners stunning Luluthi flannel for the back (one of my favorites) and a bit of DS quilts fabric for the back - from Spotlight. I love how it all came together.

 And I'm super happy I've finished one of my many UFO's!!

Birthday Boy

This kid turned two on Sunday (the one just gone). 

All he wanted was lady beetle cupcakes and a ride on tractor.

So easy to please!
